The NOVA SIRIA drafts contracts with its customers in a proper, complete and transparent manner, attempting to foresee circumstances that may significantly influence the relationship. Should unforeseen circumstances or situations arise, the Group will respect the expectations of the customer and will execute contracts fairly, without taking advantage of any positions of weakness or ignorance in the event of unexpected circumstances. NOVA SIRIA is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of information regarding its customers, covering both the customer's strategic corporate information and any personal data. Moreover, it is committed to use such information only for strictly professional purposes and only subject to prior written authorization. Customers are also bound to ensure the confidentiality of information, documents and personal data relating to NOVA SIRIA and its employees.
SUPPLIERS OF GOODS AND SERVICES
NOVA SIRIA dealings with its suppliers are governed by applicable law and by the principles of this Code. NOVA SIRIA expects its suppliers to behave fairly, diligently and in compliance with applicable law, paying particular attention to regulations and best practices regarding ethics, health and safety, and protection of the environment. With the aim of encouraging/promoting compliance with ethical, health and safety, and environmental issues throughout the supply chain, NOVA SIRIA encourages its suppliers to apply these same selection criteria to their subcontractors. Suppliers play a fundamental part in improving NOVA SIRIA's global competitiveness. Therefore, the selection process is based on objective valuations of fairness, price, quality, innovation, continuity and ethics. NOVA SIRIA is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of information regarding its suppliers and to use such information only for strictly professional purposes and only subject to prior written authorization. Suppliers are also bound to ensure the confidentiality of information, documents and personal data relating to NOVA SIRIA and its collaborators.
A market based on fair competition is paramount to NOVA SIRIA. Therefore, NOVA SIRIA and its collaborators are committed to compliance with applicable law (in any jurisdiction) and to cooperate with market regulators. It is forbidden to obtain information on the competition (e.g. activities, production methods, technology) by illegal or unethical means (e.g. theft, corruption, false statements, electronic eavesdropping).
Information pertaining to NOVA SIRIA intended for the media may only be distributed by authorised corporatefunctions or with their prior authorisation. Public communications of data and information shall be truthful, transparent and in line with Group policies. Therefore, collaborators shall abstain from conduct and declarations that may in any way damage the reputation of the NOVA SIRIA.
